Mistral released an 8B robot navigation model that requires only a single RGB camera, eliminating the need for LiDAR, depth sensors, or multi-camera systems. The model can execute path navigation using natural language commands and is trained entirely in simulation, targeting wheeled, legged, and aerial platforms.
