Building Decision Memory for AI Agents
al_kRicha · reddit · 2026-07-09
The author created a micro-skill for agentic development to capture the original context behind decisions, including selection rationale, rejected alternatives, constraints, and background. Believing that code diffs or chat logs are insufficient for long-term decision tracing, the goal is to preserve raw trajectories first and later build a compilation/processing layer to turn them into a useful memory system for humans and agents.
