arrakis_ai · x · 2026-07-09
The OpenAI system successfully solved all five problems in the AtCoder World Tour Finals algorithmic competition. The hardest problem carried a difficulty rating of 2500, far exceeding the typical human limit of 1800. Even for a relatively easier 900-rated problem, top human contestants only had about a 50% chance of solving it during the contest, whereas the AI cleared the first three in just 38 minutes.
