The post highlights the AI outcomes of two large health systems. Through its partnership with OpenAI, Boston Children’s freed up around 60,000 hours—equivalent to reallocating over $7 million in labor costs. More than a third of its staff uses AI daily, which also helped identify over 40 previously unsolved rare cases.
Meanwhile, CommonSpirit Health generated over $100 million in value in FY2025 through AI and robotic process automation, with 242 applications currently live. Their report also noted a drop in sepsis mortality rates and up to a 50% reduction in imaging scan times.
