Notebookllm Refactored with MCP Support

The author rewrote notebookllm from scratch, releasing version 2.1.0 as a more comprehensive tool. The library now supports 8+ notebook and script formats, including ipynb, percent scripts, Quarto, Marimo, Markdown, R Markdown, Deepnote, and plain scripts.
Key features of the new release include output summarization, content trimming based on token budgets, asynchronous cell execution, and an MCP server compatible with Claude Desktop, VS Code, Zed, and Cursor. The post also provides installation instructions and the total number of available tools.
