UN Says AI Regulation Lags Behind Capabilities

A scientific panel appointed by the United Nations released a preliminary report stating that governments' tools and capacities for AI governance still lag behind technological development. The report was written by 40 independent scientists from various regions and co-chaired by Bengio and Maria Ressa.
