AI Self-Evolution May Start With the Harness
量子位 · wechat · 2026-07-08
This blog discusses a more engineering-oriented path for AI Recursive Self-Improvement (RSI): starting with the Harness—the external runtime system of the model—rather than self-rewriting model weights. The Harness dictates how the model calls tools, manages context, reads/writes files, decomposes tasks, invokes sub-agents, and verifies results.
