Marvis: An Android Assistant That Operates Apps
Foreign_Tonight_7584 · reddit · 2026-07-08
A developer has released Marvis, an Android assistant acting as a mobile computer-use agent. It executes real app tasks via clicking, typing, and swiping across applications, handling requests like ordering an iced latte from Starbucks or extracting an address from a text to start navigation. It supports voice interruptions for redirection, pauses on touch, and requests confirmation for irreversible actions like payments or deletions. The author notes that since Google Play bans device-controlling agents, Marvis is available via third-party stores, offering an experience they claim surpasses Google's own Gemini solution.
