Michael_Moroz_ · x · 2026-07-08
Leveraging the native equirectangular 360-degree reconstruction capability newly added in COLMAP 4.1, developer @Michael_Moroz_ has incorporated corresponding 360 support into their Gaussian Splatting training tool slang-splat, making 360-degree Gaussian Splatting reconstruction incredibly simple. This is a practical capability expansion for 3D scene reconstruction workflows.
