Claude Code 2.1.204 Fixes Headless Session Hook
ClaudeCodeLog · x · 2026-07-08
Anthropic released Claude Code 2.1.204, a minor CLI update. It primarily fixes an issue where SessionStart hooks events did not stream output in headless sessions—previously causing remote workers to be garbage-collected as idle during hook execution.
Additionally, documentation clarifies that the grep backend uses ripgrep, recommending it as the default repository search tool for faster speeds. See the original thread for full details.
