Goodfire Proposes Block-Sparse Featurizers for Interpretability

Goodfire AI released its latest research, Block-Sparse Featurizers (BSF), a new method for efficiently discovering concepts/features within models. Echoing the philosophy that "if models think in shapes, our tools should too," it is intended for mechanistic interpretability research.
