DeepMind Leverages AI to Assist Ancient History Research

Google DeepMind introduced the "Predicting the Past" research skill. In collaboration with historian Sommerschield, they completed three case studies demonstrating how historians can explore ancient data in entirely new ways by combining specialized AI with Gemini's reasoning capabilities.
