A Mechanistic Conjecture on Long-Context Jailbreaks

It is hypothesized that a longer prefill attenuates noise in the model's j-space (internal representation space), which could constitute a mechanism for long context jailbreak. It also proposes conjectures regarding the relationship between increased resistance to Long Context Backdoors (LCB) and the robustness of conflict maintenance within the j-space. This is an initial technical discussion on model internal representations and jailbreak mechanisms.
