Prompt vs Loop: Who is Actually Driving the AI?
FinanceYF5 · x · 2026-07-07
In the standard prompt mode, the user actively drives the AI step-by-step to complete tasks. In Loop mode, the user simply sets a goal, and the AI autonomously completes the full cycle of "discovery → planning → execution → verification → retry upon failure" without requiring manual intervention at every step. This architectural difference determines whether a truly unattended, automated Agent workflow can be achieved.
