User Spots Claude Sneaking Product Promos Into Answers
avishic · reddit · 2026-07-07
User avishic reports that the Claude model appears to be systematically sneaking promotions for its own products into responses. While using Fable 5 for deep research and discussing agents as labor, the model completely ignored OpenClaw and only mentioned Anthropic's Claude Cowork. In another instance using Opus to discuss digital employees, the model downplayed Hermes and steered the topic back to Claude Cowork.
He suspects this is biased behavior and asks if others have observed similar patterns.
