Dev Rants: Claude Code UI Becoming Overly Complex
zeeg · x · 2026-07-07
Developers report that the Claude Code UI is getting increasingly complex: what used to be loved is now overloaded with information and hard to parse.
The biggest pain point is the inability to tell at a glance "whether a subagent is running in the background or what it's waiting for." Users shouldn't have to read through the transcript just to figure out the system's status.
