How Many Wafers and EUV Lithography Machines Does a 1GW Data Center Need?

The author estimates that building a 1GW AI data center requires over 50,000 logic wafers and more than 180,000 DRAM wafers. Globally, the 15GW+ of compute capacity added this year is equivalent to about 25 EUV lithography machines running at full capacity year-round.
