A New Dimension of Reasoning: When to Commit, Not What to Generate

The current LLM reasoning surge focuses on longer CoTs, search, verifiers, RL, and test-time compute. However, SAS (Self-Aware Scheduler) points to another dimension: scheduling thoughts. For diffusion language models, reasoning might depend less on "what to generate" and more on "when to commit."
