NVIDIA's New Plan: Compute for Cloud Revenue Sharing to Back Neoclouds
rohanpaul_ai · x · 2026-07-06
NVIDIA launched a new initiative allowing AI startups to trade future product and cloud revenue shares for high-performance computing power. This enables NVIDIA to "earn twice": first from infrastructure sales, and then from recurring cuts of the cloud revenue generated by that compute. Targeted specifically at dedicated GPU cloud providers (neoclouds) rather than AWS or Google Cloud, the program aims to help underfunded researchers and startups access massive AI compute through a new revenue-sharing model. Neoclouds, in turn, purchase compute from NVIDIA to resell as services.
