Test Run: Reviewing Claude Codebase with Codex
MartinGTobias · x · 2026-07-06
The author ran Codex to review a codebase generated by Claude and found that Codex suggested numerous improvements. He also noted that Codex has surpassed Anthropic in one feature: all Codex sessions can connect to mobile phones, which isn't true for all Claude Code versions. Overall, he believes Codex better aligns with his design goals and is more meticulous, whereas Claude Code tends to make too many assumptions and produces rougher outputs.
