Claude Code Background Agents Auto-Commit and Open PRs
dr_cintas · x · 2026-07-05
According to @drcintas, the latest Claude Code update allows agents to run in the background by default. After you hand off a task, it works on a separate branch, automatically committing, pushing, and opening a draft PR for review instead of pausing to ask questions. You will only be notified when it truly needs your input.
