Open-Source Plugin fable-advisor Saves Tokens via Fable 5 Orchestration
daniel_mac8 · x · 2026-07-04
Daniel Mac has released fable-advisor, a free and open-source Claude plugin. The concept is to use Claude Fable 5 as an "orchestrator" for heavy reasoning while delegating high token-consuming but simpler tasks to cheaper models.
The new version adds: instructions for Fable to minimize its own token usage, and integration of GPT-5.5 as an execution subagent via Codex CLI (reusing a user's ChatGPT subscription at no extra cost).
Installation: Run claude plugin marketplace add DannyMac180/fable-advisor, then claude plugin install fable-advisor, and enable it with /model fable.
