Study: Open Image/Video Models Dominate NCII Abuse

A new paper reveals that models from Stability and Alibaba dominate the ecosystem of Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII) abuse for images and videos, respectively, to an extent far exceeding previous estimates. The research argues that a small number of companies lacking in social responsibility are the primary drivers of AI NCII abuse, highlighting the safety risks associated with open-weight image and video generation models.
