LeCun's AdaJEPA Replaces Frozen World Models With Test-Time Adaptation

The AdaJEPA paper, guided by Yann LeCun, proposes dynamically adapting models during the testing phase rather than relying on fixed (frozen) world models. Part of the JEPA (Joint-Embedding Predictive Architecture) research series, the approach allows models to adjust representations on the fly based on current input during inference. This challenges the mainstream design assumptions of frozen world models and opens a new direction for adaptive cognitive modeling in AI systems.
