Waymo partners with Toyota to build autonomous bZ4X fleet

Waymo and Toyota announced a manufacturing partnership to produce autonomous bZ4X vehicles, with testing in Japan from 2027 and later expansion to the UK; the cheaper platform could roughly halve per-vehicle costs to about $87,000.
