Nomura cites QuestMobile data showing Douyin surpassed WeChat in usage time for the first time in July, with ByteDance apps taking 40.9% of China's top 50 apps' screen time. Hongguo reached 168M DAU with 125 minutes of daily use per user, overtaking the four major long-video platforms.
