Harvard's CONCERT Predicts Spatial Spread of Gene Perturbations in Tissue
Harvard Medical School researchers led by Marinka Zitnik released CONCERT, a generative model that predicts how gene perturbation effects spread spatially through tissue using spatial transcriptomics. Demonstrated on DSS colitis and Perturb-map mouse lung cancer data, it outperformed five baseline methods.
