DeepMind's ForTy Maps Global Forest Types at 10-Metre Resolution

Google DeepMind published and released ForTy, a 10-metre-resolution global forest typology map (2020 plus 2017–2025 time series) built on its AlphaEarth Foundations model from satellite imagery of 1.7 million sites, classifying land into five forest types to support deforestation monitoring and zero-deforestation supply chains.
