IBM demos Spyre accelerator integration with PyTorch and vLLM

At PyTorchCon 2026, IBM demonstrated its Spyre accelerator integrating with the PyTorch compiler and vLLM. IBM and Red Hat also published a blog series detailing the Spyre PyTorch software stack, including a migration to the PyTorch Inductor backend that shrinks the compiler 7x.
