Deep learning turns cancer protein K-Ras into a self-labeling fluorescent tag

A Harvard/MIT/Broad team posted a bioRxiv preprint using deep learning to redesign 78 of 169 residues of the cancer protein K-Ras(G12C), turning it into an orthogonal self-labeling fluorescent tag called LUCI-tag.
