Manus Maker Butterfly Effect Raises Over $500M, Returns to China

Butterfly Effect, the parent company of AI agent Manus, has raised over $500 million at a $4 billion valuation led by Boyu Capital and IDG, with backing from Tencent and Sequoia China. The company also launched Manus 2.0 and assistant Cue, and is rebuilding its Beijing team to target the Chinese market.
