DINOv3 + SAM Enable Local Real-Time Surgical Instrument Counting

Developers demonstrated a training-free, fully local surgical instrument tracking workflow that combines SAM 3.1 for baseline segmentation and DINOv3 for per-object feature comparison every 0.2 seconds. The demo counted 20 instruments in 14 seconds and flagged missing or foreign items based on similarity thresholds.
