Systems neuroscience and the cognitive science bridge debate
The author argues that most of systems neuroscience is built around the sensorimotor loop of world-neural activity-action, and that cognitive science's abstract information-processing view serves as a unique bridge between brains and thinking machines, including today's LLMs.
