WanGP v13 Hits Pinokio: Local Video and Song Generation on Low-VRAM GPUs
On September 16, developer cocktailpeanut shipped a series of updates around WanGP (Wan2GP), dramatically lowering the hardware barrier for local AI video and song generation. WanGP v13.00 introduces the latest song generation model YuE2, which the author says rivals Suno 5 and runs on an ordinary PC with just 4.5GB of VRAM — feed in lyrics and a genre and it generates a full song with vocals; the author's own testing suggests it really is better, and sample songs were released.

- WanGP/Wan2GP is now on Pinokio with one-click install and launch — a heavily optimized Gradio interface for low-VRAM machines (6GB+ VRAM), supporting Wan 2.1/2.2, Qwen, Hunyuan Video, LTX Video, Flux, and more.
- A dedicated AMD build of WanGP also landed on Pinokio, letting RDNA 2-4 A-series GPU users run the above video generation models locally.
- WanGP newly integrates LongCat Avatar 1.5 Distilled 13.6B (Another lipsync lip-sync video generation model), runnable even on low-spec machines.
