TII Releases Falcon OCR 1.5, a 0.27B-Parameter OCR Model

TII released Falcon OCR 1.5, a compact 270M-parameter early-fusion OCR model. With improved SFT and RL training, it reduces hallucinations and scores 82.4 on olmOCR-Bench and 93.2 on OmniDocBench, rivaling models 20 times its size in table and handwriting recognition.
