Invideo Launches AI Agent Video Editor
On Sept 10–11, AI video tool company Invideo officially launched its new editor, invideo editor. The core idea: an AI agent handles the tedious, repetitive execution work of editing while creators focus on creativity, narrative and craft. The company calls it the future of editing; the editor link was shared in its tweet replies.
Confirmed
- Invideo officially released the new editor centered on agent-driven automation (reported by @UncannyHarry and multiple reshares).
- The product is positioned as a hybrid of DaVinci, After Effects and CapCut, covering the full workflow in one window.
- Creator LudovicCreator shared a hands-on test: after importing footage, create an AI editing agent, set pacing and narrative structure, and it produces a rough cut automatically while the editor keeps shot-by-shot control.
- User Rufuszone shared a complete work made with the editor: an MV built from AI-generated footage via cuts, transitions, sound effects and layered audio, demonstrating a full footage-to-finish workflow.
Why it matters
- The product extends AI from pure generation into post-production, forming a complete "generate + edit" AI video creation workflow.
- The "agent executes, humans create" division of labor offers a new model for AI-native professional editing software, directly targeting DaVinci, After Effects and CapCut.
- Real users have already delivered a complete MV, showing the workflow actually runs rather than staying at the concept stage.
