OpenBMB Releases MiniCPM5-2B, Tops Sub-4B Open Model Intelligence Index

OpenBMB has released MiniCPM5-2B, an open-source on-device model of about 2.6B parameters, topping the sub-4B category with a score of 15 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v4.2. Available under Apache 2.0 with native 128K context and vLLM Day-0 support, it demonstrates agentic capabilities in a small model.
