OpenAI and Six Platforms Launch $35K WebMCP Hackathon

OpenAI teamed with Chromium, Cloudflare, Shopify, Vercel, Render and Netlify for a 10-day WebMCP hackathon with a $35,000 prize pool across 10 winners, plus about $3M in platform credits. Cloudflare sponsors $20 credits per participant, with an extra $10 for using WebMCP on select sites; entries close September 3.
