Amdahl's Law Shows AI Speedups Are Overestimated

Security researcher Joshua Saxe highlights a systematic math error in AI impact discussions: per Amdahl's Law, speeding up only part of a task yields far smaller overall gains than commonly assumed, e.g. a 1000x boost on half the work plus 2x on the rest gives only about 4x total.
