Anthropic ships Cowork's built-in browser and opens Claude in Chrome to all paid plans

On August 27, Anthropic shipped two browser updates: a built-in browser for the desktop Cowork feature and full access to the Claude in Chrome extension for all paid plans, together advancing Claude toward an autonomous web-operating agent.
