15-Ton Hybrid SCV Prototype Targets 100-Ton Walking Machines

Inspired by the Global Village Construction Set, a team is building modular heavy robots toward 100-ton walking machines. Its 15-ton hybrid tracked/bipedal SCV prototype uses lattice-cast topology parts cutting 40% weight, and the autonomous rover has completed its first monitored test run.
