Unitree Unveils "Superman" Humanoid Robot, Outrunning Bolt's Record and Jumping 2 Meters

Around Aug 19, Unitree released a demo video of its new humanoid "Superman," showing two athletic feats beyond human records: a running speed of 12.66 m/s (45.6 km/h), surpassing Bolt's 44.72 km/h instantaneous peak, and a standing jump of about 2 meters. The project took just over three months to develop, the robot's legs are only 0.85 m long, and Unitree says substantial improvements are expected in the coming months.
