Uber Partners with Nissan and Wayve for Tokyo Robotaxi Launch

Uber has partnered with Hinomaru, Nissan, and AI startup Wayve to launch a robotaxi pilot program in Tokyo by late 2026. Tokyo users will be able to experience this new autonomous ride-hailing service directly through the Uber app.
