Readers Prefer AI-Generated Stories and Fail to Identify Them

A new study reveals that readers generally prefer AI-generated stories over human-written ones and struggle to distinguish between the two. Interestingly, AI stories received the highest ratings when participants falsely believed they were written by a human.
