Huawei Proposes UB-Mesh Hierarchical Fully-Interconnected AI Training Network
Huawei introduced UB-Mesh, a hierarchical fully-interconnected data center network architecture for AI training. By enabling NPUs to act as routers and distributing ports across multi-layer links, it reduces switching and optical interconnects by up to 80% compared to traditional architectures.
