Large-Scale Tactile Simulation Advances Robotic Hand Research
A new tactile simulator named Trinity scales to over 16,000 parallel environments on a single GPU to advance robotic hand research. The study also found that ConvRNN with feedback connections provides more robust tactile representation learning compared to MLPs and Transformers.
