Zuckerberg Says Meta Agents Are Behind Expectations
Reports say Mark Zuckerberg told staff that Meta's AI agent progress is falling short of expectations. At the same time, the company has shifted about 7,000 employees into AI, cut 8,000 roles, and, according to Scale AI CEO Alexandr Wang, has a next-gen model codenamed Watermelon that matches GPT-5.5 on benchmarks.
