OpenArt Director: Directing Cinematic Videos via Natural Language
OpenArt has introduced Director, a new AI video creation tool that allows users to 'direct' and generate high-quality videos using natural language. The tool aims to directly convert user creativity into finished products without the need for actual shooting, attracting attention and testing within the AI community.
Workflow and Core Capabilities
Based on a series of hands-on demonstrations by @techhalla, the core workflow of OpenArt Director relies on providing sufficient context. Users initially set parameters like aspect ratio, resolution, plot, dialogue, visual style, and pacing via natural language. Upon receiving these prompts, the tool automatically generates a complete script and creates corresponding character settings and new scenes. After the user confirms the generated images, the tool automatically handles animation. Its major highlight is maintaining character and spatial consistency, generating various cinematic shots with dialogue in one go, and automatically editing and synthesizing these clips into a complete video. @gen_ericai also showcased a visual story created using this tool combined with DeepFrame Labs technology, emphasizing the importance of maintaining imagination and a childlike innocence in the AI era.
