reanimate: a free Claude Code skill that reverse-engineers any web animation into your code
dr_cintas · x · 2026-11-09
reanimate is a free, MIT-licensed Claude Code skill that reverse-engineers web animations into your own code.
Instead of guessing once from a screenshot, it films the original animation, rebuilds it in your stack, films the copy the same way, then compares timing, easing and pixels until the numbers match — usually 2-5 fix rounds, with anything still off listed in a report.
- Accepts a live URL, screen recording, mp4/gif, or Lottie file
- Writes into your existing stack: CSS, Framer Motion, GSAP, or three.js
- Install: npx skills add NiazMorshed2007/reanimate -g
