Nvidia board opens independent investigation into Jensen Huang over Chinese spy link
tomwarren · x · 2026-11-09
The Verge reports Nvidia's board has launched an independent investigation into CEO Jensen Huang, following NYT reporting that he had a "close relationship" with Megaspeed executive Alice Huang, allegedly recruited by China's Ministry of State Security to spy on the company.
A committee of independent directors with outside counsel will probe the foreign intelligence effort. The board says it has no reason to believe national security or Nvidia secrets were compromised, and Huang fully supports and will cooperate with the review.
